Heat & daylight

Daytime lighting and heating help create conditions in the terrarium similar to the natural environment. Light sets the animals' daily rhythm and supports activity, feeding and natural behaviour. A heat source at the same time creates a warm spot where reptiles can bask and regulate their body temperature. A correctly set temperature gradient between the warm and cooler part of the terrarium is important for digestion, movement and the animal's overall condition.
